El Merlu de Muntanera is our tribute to a mountain grape nearly lost to time. The Montanera di Perosa was once named in historic records, but nearly disappeared. Until we planted it again. Cultivated at altitude and aged in oak, this wine is vibrant, structured, and unlike anything else we make. A bet, a return, and a promise kept.

NAMED BY CHOICE
We called it Muntanera, in dialect, with the sound of the place in it. It’s a small act of belonging, a way to give this grape a voice when it wasn’t allowed one. This name carries the story of a vine nearly lost, the memory of the land it comes from, and the quiet pride of choosing to bring it back.

Ottenuto utilizzando Montanera di Perosa come base, è un antico rosso alpino coltivato in altitudine e affinato in botti di rovere francese e in bottiglia. Il risultato è pieno ed espressivo, con note di frutta rossa matura, spezie delicate e un finale rotondo e persistente. Un vino raro nato da un'uva rara, riportata al posto che le appartiene.
